Get insights into our SocialFinanceLab project from Iris, our project coordinator, who was invited to speak at the INSPIRE conference (https://learn2inspire.eu). Financial challenges are one of the most daunting dilemmas that social leaders are facing, so it is important to overcome this fear by providing hands-on support, practical examples and easy to digest learning nuggets on the openly accessible SocialFinanceLab. Iris gave a view of the platform concept, what contents it will include and how SocialFinanceLab can be used by social entrepreneurs, as well as start-up consultants and other supporting actors.

The conference “Time to Change: Leadership and innovation challenges in social organizations” aims at professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs in social organizations and provides opportunities to learn from developments in theory and experiences of leaders of social organizations from all over Europe.
The online conference took place on the 1st of October 2021 from 9:00-18:00 CET and was hosted by the University of Groningen. The conference program included interactive keynotes on a huge variety of social organizations, from large NGO’s in humanitarian aid, to regional food banks and small-scale activities for children.
