TERMINOLOGY
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions: "you" and "your" refers to you as an individual or you representing an entity. The “project team,” "we", "our" and "us", refers to the SocialFinanceLab consortium. The “Website” refers collectively to the interactive SocialFinanceLab platform and SocialFinanceLab project website.
AGREEMENT TO TERMS
The following Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for use of the SocialFinanceLab platform and associated project website. By accessing the Website, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by all Terms and Conditions contained within. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WHOLLY OR IN PART, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE WEBSITE AND YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE USE.
We are registered in Germany and have our registered office at Hasenlauf 4, Hude, Lower Saxony 27798. Our VAT number is USt-ID: DE267993457.
Changes and/or additional terms, conditions or documentation may be posted on the Website without prior notice and are hereby incorporated by reference. We reserve the right to make changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions, at any time, as we deem necessary. The effective date of updates and changes is noted at the beginning of the policy. Your continued use of the Website indicates your agreement with and adherence to updated Terms and Conditions.
Persons accessing the Website from locations other than those represented by the project team are responsible for being familiar and complying with local laws and regulations.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The SocialFinanceLab project supports the proliferation of open education resources (OER) in an effort to achieve the United Nation’s Fourth Sustainable Development Goal, Quality Education. Therefore, the SocialFinanceLab Website is published under a Creative Commons (CC) license, namely, the CC-BY-Share Alike license.
The CC-BY Share Alike license enables others to use, modify, build upon, and reshare the material presented on the SocialFinanceLab Website as long as they credit the original author and license their own creations under the same license.

USER REGISTRATION & REPRESENTATION
To access some features and functionalities of the Website, you will be required to provide your email address. A password is not required to use the Website. Confirmation of your email address and thereby your identity and representation as a sentient being is required. By providing this data, you agree to receive electronic communication from us.

SOCIAL MEDIA
In creating your own content on SocialFinanceLab, you may choose to link your content to your social media accounts. By posting such information on SocialFinanceLab you accept that users of SocialFinanceLab may access and link to your or your organisation’s social media account.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT
The Website contains links to other internet websites containing articles, documents, templates, videos, pictures, etc. We, the project team, are not responsible for the content of such third-party websites and cannot guarantee their accuracy or appropriateness. Be aware that third-party websites are published under their own copyrights and licenses.
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
The Website is managed by the project team. We retain the right, but are not obligated to:
Ensure that use of the Website adheres to these Terms and Conditions
Add or remove content, profiles, or registrations to maintain the quality and integrity of the Website
Pursue legal action against those who do not adhere to the Terms and Conditions
Manage the Website as deemed necessary to enable its functionality, effectiveness and efficiency

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by German law. Should arbitration or litigation of any kind come into play, it will be conducted under the laws and regulation of Lower Saxony, Germany.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Conflict or dispute over any part of these Terms and Conditions will be dealt with, first and foremost, through informal negotiations. Such negotiations should be pursued for a minimum of 60 days before pursuing further legal action. Please view the Website Imprint for more information on the degree of liability that applies to SocialFinanceLab and the project consortium.
CORRECTIONS
We reserve the right to make corrections to the Website at any time, without prior notice.

AS AN ERASMUS + CO-FUNDED PROJECT, THE SOCIALFINANCELAB PROJECT AND WEBSITE AIM TO PROVIDE HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL AT NO COST TO THE USER. WHILE THE PROJECT CONSORTIUM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE WEBSITE, EACH INDIVIDUAL USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING THE QUALITY AND APPLICABILITY OF CONTENT PRESENTED FOR MEETING THEIR OWN NEEDS. MATERIALS ON THE WEBSITE ARE PRESENTED “AS IS,” AND SHOULD BE ASSESSED ACCORDINGLY. Data uploaded to the Website will be maintained to ensure the functionality of the Website. We, the project team, are not liable for the loss, damage, modification or other alteration of said data occurring as a result of Website maintenance activities.
